GCSE & A-level French tuition in Worthing and Brighton
Quest Language Training offers GCSE and A-level French tuition in the Worthing and Brighton area.
Having a language at GCSE or A-level is a great advantage and is highly sought after by employers and universities. However keeping all the language skills up to pass GCSE or A-level French needs constant review and practice. At school it can be easy for students to fall behind or not reach their full potential. So whether a student needs to catch up on gaps in their learning or requires extra help to jump up a grade, our team of dedicated, qualified language tutors can help.
1 to 1 French tuition
1 to 1 French tuition provides the opportunity to get the basics in place and ask any questions you like. Your tutor will give clear examples and explanations, plus plenty of practice exercises. They will also devote time to speaking & listening skills which are the most difficult to practice away from the classroom.
During the first lesson your French tutor will make an assessment of your strengths and weaknesses and then create an individual learning plan. It will focus on all skill areas needed for French GCSE; listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as grammar.
We recommend a minimum of an hour a week for effective GCSE preparation, or you may wish to enrol on an intensive French course during the school holidays.
Our team of professional and qualified GCSE French tutors has expert knowledge of the GCSE and A-level syllabus and exams. With many years’ experience in GCSE French tuition, both in schools and as private French tutors, they are quick to recognise individual students’ needs and get them on track to exam success.
All French tutors at Quest Language Training are interviewed in person. In addition they are selected for their patient, friendly and approachable manner. They all hold a current DBS certificate and supply references which are verified.
“Very patient and encouraging, which helped hugely with a speaking task for GCSE. Creates a ‘safe’ learning environment in which it is ok to make mistakes in order to learn from them. My son is even looking forward to more lessons, which is a good sign!” B. Starks, Steyning
“Suzanne is an excellent teacher who unravelled A level German grammar for my son. He now enjoys it so much, he’s going to study it at University.” K. Jones, Kingston, Surrey
“A patient, creative teacher who explains well, makes learning interesting & achieves good results.”
French tuition can be arranged at your home after school, evenings or weekends. Your French tutor will supply most learning materials, but may also recommend purchasing specific revision guides in addition.
